She told : I told her what happened with me. I auditioned for Big Brother five times, then I did this documentary where I said I'd slept with over 300 men.

"Then Big Brother contacted me and put me in.

"She knows this - if you get in the press, you'll get on Big Brother. That is her dream gig."

Miss Ayling says she was snatched, drugged and taken to a remote Italian farmhouse after arriving in Milan for a fake photoshoot, where her captors planned to auction her as a sex slave on the Dark Web.

The father of her 21-month-old son, Conor Keyes, previously said his ex-girlfriend “loves the camera” and admitted: “I don’t know what to make of it”.

He described her ordeal as “craziness” and the situation since the 20-year-old returned from Italy as “weird”.

Questions began mounting after the model’s lawyer confirmed she went shopping for groceries and shoes with her alleged kidnapper, Polish-born Lukasz Herbaa day before she turned up at the British consulate.

But, Miss Ayling's mum Beata has insisted her daughter is telling the truth.

Speaking to the she said: "People are making up lies about my daughter. She is recovering now after what has happened. It has been terrible for her."

She added that "it will all come out" when Miss Ayling is "ready to speak out" about what happened to her.

Police say Herba demanded £270,000 to stop the auction, hosted on pornographic sites on the dark web.

He later said he would pay most of the ransom if she could find three people to hand over the remaining £38,000.

He was arrested on July 17 when Polish-born Herba, living in Oldbury, West Mids, gave Miss Ayling new trainers and drove her to the British consulate.

Reports said he took pity on her after she told him she had a baby.

Since her return to the UK, Miss Ayling has signed to celebrity agency Kruger Cowne, which also represents stars including Sir Bob Geldof, Elle McPherson and Cher.

She has since explained that she went shopping with her captor because she believed he was the only that could help her in being released.

In a 3,500 word statement to Italian police, she added: “MD tried various sexual advances with me but I always stopped it by putting it off to the future.

“In effect I was leading him to believe that we would have become more intimate friends when this kidnapping was over.”

She said her best chance at escaping was to befriend Herba.

Chloe told officers: "I’ve feared for my life, second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour.”
