The ex-Deputy PM is to pen his third book on advice for Remainers to wreck Brexit

The manual, titled 'How to Stop Brexit', will be published in October.

His publisher described his latest work as “the indispensable handbook to saving your country from an utterly pointless calamity”.

Mr Clegg lost his Sheffield seat in June's election, but has vowed not to give up on fighting our exit.

And as The Sun revealed in July, even his only family voted for Labour in a sweep of support for Jeremy Corbyn's party.

New Lib Dem leader Vince Cable was the only one to run for the job after Tim Farron stepped down over the summer, and was sworn in as leader at the end of last month.

But he's already caused fury by claiming that Brexit might not happen - as the party continue to fight for a second referendum on the terms of our exit.

Publisher the Bodley Head said Mr Clegg's book will show readers how to halt the exit because there is "nothing remotely inevitable" about leaving - despite our clear vote to leave last year.

The publisher said: "He argues that it is the democratic right of voters to review Brexit and to change their minds if they wish to."

"Clegg explains precisely how this historic mistake can be reversed and how the country can be reunited in the process. At its heart are simple, practical, effective measures, including step-by-step plans, which the reader can take to ensure this happens.
