One Twitter user said: "Pokemon Trainer Club is down. I can't check Pokémon GO nor play Pokémon TCG Online..."

Another added: "Pokémon Go seems to be down... its now 3 hours....."

A disappointed user added: "Pokémon go is down and it's basically ruined my entire Saturday."

The outage appears to be particularly effecting users in Europe, Japan and Malaysia.
