Moment a dozy passenger sprints from a shuttle bus back to a plane behind its ENGINES on Edinburgh Airport runway
SHOCKING clip shows ground staff slamming the Norwegian Air shuttle passenger for her reckless dash
THIS is the unbelievable moment a woman sprints from a shuttle bus back to a plane on the runway at Edinburgh Airport.
The passenger, who is thought to have left an item onboard, is seen dashing from the bus and running around the back of the jet.
Ground staff eventually spot the woman and she is escorted away from the aircraft and runs back on to the bus.
And she’s given a stern telling off by a member of the ground crew who tells her: "That was unbelievable."
The woman could have been injured or killed by the Norwegian Air Shuttle's jets or hit by a service vehicle.
And she could also have dropped an item near an aircraft, putting other passengers at risk.
The flight arrived yesterday at from Providence, Rhode Island.
The low cost airline launched its flights across the pond from the Scottish last summer.
The clip clearly shows the woman, carrying a plastic shopping bag and wearing a sun hat, running around the tail of the plane, putting herself at serious risk.
Vehicles and members of staff can be seen moving around behind the aircraft, but the woman appears unfazed and runs directly towards them.
When she gets back to the bus one of the ground crew approaches the her and asks: “Can I ask you madam, what are you doing?”
To which the woman simply replied: “Sorry.”
The member of airport staff then says: “It is absolutely not allowed. Do you want to get killed?”
The passenger sheepishly replied: “No. Sorry.”
Inflightvideo posted the clip to YouTube with the caption: “Disembarking our flight at Edinburgh having just arrived from Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
“One passenger suddenly decides to run off of the bus and across the tarmac, underneath the aircraft. She is sent back by a baggage handler and given a stern talking to by the handling representative.”
Social media users were quick to comment on the post, and theorise why the woman would make such a shocking decision.
