Wayne Rooney party girl, 29, pictured getting into car he was arrested in as she says ‘yes, perhaps’ when asked if she would have spent the night with him
THE brunette at the centre of the Wayne Rooney scandal admitted she probably would have slept with the married star as she was seen climbing into the car he was arrested in today.
The former England captain was arrested after being pulled over driving Laura Simpson's VW Beetle while allegedly over the limit following a night out.
The 29-year-old office worker admitted she had been 'swept away' after meeting Rooney in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, with the pair sharing "a kiss, a hug" before driving "off into the night" together.
She said the pair wanted to get away from "prying eyes" after sparks started flying at the Symposium Bar.
Speaking to the , the 29-year-old said: "Was I going to spend the night with him? Yes, perhaps, we hadn't really discussed it.
"I'm a single girl and I'm allowed to have some fun. I was swept away with the moment but I wasn't awestruck.
"I'm not a marriage wrecker, it was all playful fun and I'd had loads to drink."
She added that the former England captain had been admiring her boobs throughout the night, saying "I'd like to get my hands on them."
But it wasn't until when the bar started to close that she said Rooney made a move, with one of the 31-year-old's friends coming up to her, telling her the star wanted to "go somewhere" with her.
She said the pair hadn't talked about where they were going, instead meeting outside in a taxi.
The pair were then dropped to her friend's house, with Rooney paying the taxi fare, then jumping in her Volkswagen Beetle after 1am.
Laura said as she was too drunk, Rooney got behind the wheel.
Laura, a mum of one, added: "I felt safe with Wayne, his driving was OK.
"We were on the road for 10-15 minutes and then we thought we saw flashing police lights so Wayne slowed down, he wasn't speeding, and stopped at the side of the road."
She told The Sun Online the £130,000-a-week ace, 31, was left “pi**ed off and worried”, and facing a showdown with pregnant wife Coleen, who has since been pictured back in the UK, after being nicked for drink-driving at the end of a ten-hour party session.
Rooney, who this week announced his retirement from England so he could concentrate on his club career, was nicked three miles away at 2am and later charged with drink-driving.
He was 20 minutes away from the £4million mansion he shares with Coleen and their three sons.
