THIS is the moment a dad tried to catch a BAT with a towel after it flew into kitchen and sparked chaos - as his terrified family yell "catch him!" from the sidelines.
Tadhg Fleming filmed his dad Derry's hapless attempts at trying to chase the winged animal from their house in Kerry, Ireland, with hilarious commentary.
He can be heard shouting: "Come on Derry, catch him. You're going to need a bigger towel. That's it, get him now."
Derry clambers up on a kitchen chair to try and grab the bat but to little avail and swaps to a larger towel in a bid to get it out.
Meanwhile his mum is seen hiding behind a door with her nose pressed against the glass, watching the drama unfold.
And the poor family's pet dog runs around helplessly before wetting himself on the floor in the excitement.
An amused Tadhg does little to help except run around encouraging his patient dad to "catch him" as he captures the whole debacle on camera.
Eventually Derry manages to catch the bat and lets him go out the back door.
The video, which was posted on and his Snapchat Story, has since gone viral and shared more than 16,000 times.
He even refers to Derry as "Bat Dad" at the start of the footage, editing a picture of him to look like the superhero.
Tadhg also made a point of saying: "No bats were harmed in the making of this Snapchat story".
