Mum of Manchester terror attack victim Olivia Campbell, 15, reveals she can’t go to Arena benefit concert – as she hasn’t been given a ticket

THE mum of Manchester terror attack victim Olivia Campbell has revealed she will not be at Saturday's benefit concert as she hasn't been given a ticket.

The We Are Manchester reopening concert will be headlined by Noel Gallagher and feature performances by Pixie Lott, Rick Astley,  Louisa Johnson, Blossoms, The Courteeners and Bugzy Malone - but Charlotte Campbell has said she couldn't get a ticket.

Asked if she would be there Charlotte told Good Morning Britain: "Unfortunately no we wont, only because we couldn't get any tickets but we would have been there if we could have got tickets.

"The tickets were completely sold out."

Shocked presenter Kate Garraway called for Charlotte and partner Paul Hodgson to be given tickets saying: "I think we've got to put that right if you want to be there you should be there."

Charlotte first appeared on the show immediately after the blast as she desperately appealed for news of her daughter.

Speaking three months on she said: "We are doing alright, doing day-by-day, still very hard, still missing her a lot, but we are keeping alright."

Charlotte has visited the venue with the families of other victims since it was restored following the blast that killed 22 innocent people at the end of an Ariana Grande gig on May 22.

She told GMB: "It's a very surreal thing we came in just after it had happened originally and to see what they have done is very surreal.

"It's weird to know it's the last place my daughter was and she was so happy.

"I'm alright about it. The thing is the arena is a big thing for Manchester, bringing a lot of money into Manchester. Life has to go on unfortunately and I know if Olivia was here she would be the first one booking tickets."

Charlotte also revealed that she and partner Paul will marry in November - walking down the aisle to the sound of her daughter singing.

She said the ceremony will follow all of the 15-year-old's wishes - including that all bridesmaids wear Converse shoes.

All proceeds from Saturday's gig will be donated to the Manchester Memorial Fund and be put towards a permanent memorial to the victims.

The Sun revealed last month that sick touts were flogging tickets to the gig for huge profits.
