Amir Khan’s estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom in swipe at boxer as she posts Snapchat image attacking people who are ‘takers not givers’ and posing in bizarre LED mask
AMIR Khan's estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom has taken a swipe at her boxer ex posting a Snapchat image attacking people who are "takers not givers".
Faryal also posted a video herself enjoying a bizarre LED mask facial as she hit out at Amir who was partying in Dubai as she attended her baby scan alone.
A Snapchat image posted by Faryal read: "My father said there were two kinds of people in the world: givers and takers. The takers may eat better, but the givers sleep better."
The warring couple have been in a bitter dispute since Amir announced their break-up in a Twitter rant that saw him accuse his wife of cheating on him with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
The 30-year-old welterweight later took back the claims and has been pictured partying in Dubai as Faryal suffers morning sickness and cravings.
Faryal, 26, seemed to be trying to escape her troubles as she relaxed while having the hi-tech LED treatment posting the message: "Has anyone tried the LED face mask? It's super cool - can't wait to see the results."
The Sun revealed that she was devastated to have to attend her first baby scan, at a private hospital in the UK last week, without her husband by her side.
Instead Amir was pictured walking hand-in-hand with a mystery brunette at a Dubai nightclub on Thursday night.
A source said: "Faryal was heartbroken that Amir had not accompanied her to her scan. She's in the early stages of her pregnancy and, like any expectant parent, knows it's a very critical time for her unborn baby.
"Amir's support is needed more than ever but instead he chooses to spend his time in another country in the company of other women.
"These are important landmarks regardless of whether a couple are together and both parties should be present.
"Despite them having their differences Faryal had hoped to work through their issues in a civil fashion.
"She's so upset and can't understand why he would choose to do that.
"What should be a very exciting time has now turned into a very stressful situation for her. She's worried about the effect that it could have on her pregnancy."
The Bolton-born star took to his Snapchat account on Friday to announce that he'd filed for divorce from Faryal, who is the mother of his two-year-old daughter Lamaisah.
Despite vowing to be there for his kids Amir then went on to question whether his wife's claim that she's pregnant was even true.
The boxing world champion also alleged that he had only learnt of Faryal's pregnancy through social media, after she announced it on her Twitter account last month.
The allegations came just hours after he put his marriage troubles behind him and was spotted leaving a concert at The Dome in Dubai Sports City with his hand placed on the bottom of a mystery woman.
The source continued: "He was aware of the pregnancy and found out before anything was put on social media.
"Faryal is not aware that anything has been filed for divorce and in Islamic culture it's frowned upon to divorce a pregnant woman.
"For now Faryal is maintaining a dignified silence as she can't even put her feelings into words. She's distraught that Amir would even suggest that she has made up her pregnancy.
"It's been a very emotional time for her and she's been relying on her friends and family for support."
On Friday night Faryal posted on her Snapchat account: "You know the saddest thing about betrayal? It never comes from an enemy."
The Sun on Sunday previously revealed that Faryal had vowed to raise their unborn baby alone, after the collapse of their four-year marriage in an explosive Twitter row last month.
A legal expert warned Amir - who was recently linked to Pakistan model Alyzeh Gabol, 23 - could lose half of his £25million fortune through the divorce.
