Lostprophets paedo Ian Watkins visited in jail by a string of young ‘goth’ fangirls who kiss and hold hands with shamed rocker
The pervert is said to still be lapping up the attention of young fans while serving a 35-year sentence at Wakefield Prison
PAEDO rocker Ian Watkins has a string of young fangirls queuing up to visit him in prison - an insider has said.
The former Lostprophets frontman is said to kiss and hold hands with at least three women during visiting times at Wakefield Prison, West Yorks.
The vile 40-year-old was jailed in 2013 for 35 years for a string of child sex offences including the attempted rape of a baby.
But the source says the singer acts like "he doesn't have a care in the world" while laughing and joking with besotted fans.
The mum-of-two, from Berkshire, says Watkins is the most hated fiend in the prison and makes her feel "sick" every time she sees him.
She said: "I have been visiting there for about six months. Over the course of that, he has probably had three different ladies visit him at different times, regularly.
"They are all under 25, they are all quite young. They all have the same look - they all look like goths.
"I have been sat next to him before and I have asked to move because I won't sit near him. He makes people feel very uncomfortable - he is vile."
"He is quite noticed in there because of who he is.
Watkins has piled on the pounds since being inside and now sports a moustache, the onlooker claims.
The woman, who works in a school and asked not to be named, added: "I looked over at him and he was laughing and joking, and holding hands with a young lady. It was inappropriate.
"I would expect him to be keeping his head down. But he isn't normal.
"He didn't seem to have a care in the world. It was quite bizarre.
"Whenever I look at him, because people do, you know that he feels uncomfortable. He catches your eye and looks away.
"Obviously I don't expect him to be bothered by what he has done, because I don't think he has a conscience."
"He is just vile. He doesn't deserve to sit there laughing. It makes me so angry."
The woman said she visits the high security jail three times a month.
She added: "He has regular visitors. Probably two out of the three times I will see him on the visit.
"And bearing in mind there is young children in that room, it just makes it worse, I think."
Last month, an Independent Police Complaints Commission report found Watkins could have been nabbed four years earlier but police missed chances to stop him.
It says an officer with no training in child sex abuse probes was assigned to the case which raised "disturbing concerns".
