Parsons Green bomb attack suspect Yahya Faroukh yells out as cops disguised as homeless men pounce outside his chicken shop workplace
THIS is the moment a man arrested over the Parsons Green bombing shouted "I'm sorry" as he was pinned to a wall by police.
Cops had pretended to be homeless people as they sat in wait outside the takeaway where Yahya Faroukh, 21, worked - before leaping out to take him away for questioning.
He was pinned down by four undercover cops at midnight on Saturday.
Farroukh was arrested outside Aladdins Fried Chicken in Hounslow, West London, where he is believed to have worked behind the counter for nine months.
Faroukh moved from Syria to Surrey and had been living with a foster couple before moving out to Staines - who had also taken in the first man arrested over the terror attack.
Suleman Sarwar, one of the owners of the takeaway, said Farroukh "never mentioned anything about ISIS", adding: "He seemed very Westernised, he was into American rap music and wore Western clothes like jeans and T-shirt.
"He was very sensible and mature, and not into religion at all. There was nothing to make him stand out."
As he is pushed to a wall by cops he says: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" after undercover officers dressed as tramps pounced - causing a pile of KitKats and Maltesers to spill out of his bag.
A witness who saw Farroukh’s arrest said: “The guy had just walked past the takeaway when three blokes and a woman came running past and he was rugby tackled to the floor.
“My mates and I thought he was getting jumped.
We were going to help him but they shouted 'undercover police' so we stepped back."
This morning we reported Farroukh appeared to enjoy smoking cannabis and drinking vodka as part of his daily life - posting regularly about it on social media.
Thirty people were injured including a schoolboy after a "fireball flew down a carriage" on the Tube train. Police have since arrested two men as they investigate the bombing.
The explosion struck a District Line train at Parsons Green at 8.20am on September 15.
Passengers suffered facial burns after the incident inside the carriage as it was sat at the West London station.
An 18-year-old man is also still being held by police and quizzed over the attack - they are both believed to have been taken in by a couple who had previously received MBEs for their services to children and families.
