Is flat owner ‘haunted’ by Dear David ghost child actually being terrorised by the spirit of a Japanese statue? He thinks so…
Adam Ellis, who lives in New York, went viral in August after he posted live Twitter updates about the alleged ghost which he named Dear David
A MAN who spooked out social media with stories of a child "ghoul" haunting his flat thinks he has discovered a statue of the evils spirit in Japan.
Adam Ellis, who lives in New York, went viral in August after he posted live Twitter updates about the alleged ghost which he named Dear David.
And last month he took a trip to the Far East for two weeks thinking if he left the flat long enough the spirit would leave him be.
But the illustrator got the fright of his life when he travelled to the Land of The Rising Sun after discovering the ghoul's likeness in a statue.
During his last day in the country Adam took a stroll around Sapporo where he spotted the face of his tormentor in a park ornament.
He said on : "It's my last full day in Japan.
"The past couple weeks have been pretty peaceful. I have people taking care of the cats and they say they've been doing fine.
"This morning I went for a long walk around Sapporo. I never really plan my vacations. I like to wander a lot and see what I find.
"I came across this statue in a park. I couldn't find out any real information about it online, but it was weird and pretty.
"I was taking pictures of it from different angles since its cylindrical. I moved around to one side & almost dropped my phone at what I saw.
"It felt too similar to be a coincidence. I felt dizzy staring up at it, this kid with a dented head.
"I don't know. Maybe I'm overreacting? Maybe this is nothing? It doesn't feel like nothing."
He previously shared a spine-chilling clip of objects appearing to move on their own in his flat.
He shared an update with his followers - documenting the spooky goings on which he said began on last month.
He began his thread with: "It's happening again".
Adam then explained how he had been leaving a camera on 24/7 which records every time there's movement or sound.
The camera had already revealed the moment a chair appears to move on it's own but Adam's latest footage - recorded on Saturday evening - shows a green glass appearing to move.
Adam draws attention to the behaviour of his cats - in particular his black and white feline, Maxwell, who Adam claims "freaks out and jumps over something invisible".
However his followers appeared to be more spooked by a green glass on the table which appears to move slightly, seemingly by itself.
One follower wrote: "The jar moves how do you not see that."

Adam claims the supernatural saga began when he drew a picture of the child ghost, with a "huge misshapen head which was dented on one side" who was sat in a green rocking chair at the end of his bed in a dream he had.
Then suddenly months later, Adam's two cats stood staring at his front door at midnight for six nights running.
