Which Hollywood actress and her daughter are the unlikely stars of hoardings surrounding a development of new flats in south London?
Developers leave residents in South Norwood scratching their heads using a photo of the pair taken on a New York street in 2012
BUNGLING builders have left residents of a south London neighbourhood scratching their heads after using a photo of a Hollywood actress and her equally well-known daughter on hoardings around a new development.
The pair appear to be walking along a South Norwood pavement in the image that shows what the block of flats will look like when completed.
But the snap of the Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise was actually taken while they were strolling down a New York street in 2012.
The developers are using the hoardings to advertise their six luxury flats, which are available off plan.
They include one 3 bedroom, two two bedroom and three one bedroom properties.
A Sterling Rose spokesman said: "Unfortunately, this is the first time this has been raised to us.
"I have now reviewed the photo and CGI. I can state that this is a genuine error.
"I have contacted the firm that provided the CGI to us, they were not aware that this was an image of a celebrity and we will now be removing the CGI with immediate effect."
Just two and a half miles away from South Norwood lies Croydon.
The pair moved in earlier this month.
Isabella was adopted by Tom and his then wife Nicole Kidman in the 1990s alongside her brother Connor – but her dad was nowhere in sight as she settled into her new home.
Instead her husband, IT consultant Max was by her side as they unloaded a car full of their stuff into their semi-detached pad without the help of even a removal company.
Isabella and Max married in a Scientology ceremony in London in 2015, but the wedding was not attended by either Tom or Nicole.
She has been estranged from her mother for years, since reportedly choosing to live with her dad Tom after the couple divorced in 2001.
