Ben Needham’s mum reveals terrible anguish over whereabouts of her missing son as she speaks of her desperation to bring him home

BEN Needham's mum has revealed her anguish over where her missing son is as she tells of her desperation to bring him home.
The 21-month-old vanished on the Greek island of Kos on July 24, 1991, but his body has never been found - despite weeks of excavation by police.
His mum has now said she will not rest until her son's remains are found a year after cops concluded Ben died in a horrible accident.
Writing on the Help Find Ben Needham Facebook page this weekend, Kerry said: "Yesterday marked 1 year since South Yorkshire Police ended their search on Kos and released the information that Ben died on the day he disappeared.
"This does not mean that the search for Ben ends here.
"Kerry, Leighanna and the whole Needham family still need to find Ben to bring him home to rest.
"Somebody out there knows exactly where Ben is. Please do the decent humane thing and let the family have Ben home to rest."
She added: "This is not how it ends.
"It will only end when Ben is home."
Ben was playing a his grandparents' farmhouse in Kos 26 years ago when he vanished without a trace.
His bloodied sandal and toy car were later discovered after police carried out a huge excavation of the site last year.
After he disappeared, the family began to search nearby for the tot, assuming that he had wandered off, but no sign of Ben was found.
Eventually the search was widened and theories surrounding his disappearance have ranged from a gypsy family kidnapping the tot to Ben living across the globe in Australia.
Cops now believe he was accidentally hit by a digger driven by Konstantinos Barkas but there has been no sign of his body.
Anguished Kerry agreed her son was dead, adding: "This confirms everything the police have suspected. It makes it all a little too real. We believe what they believe."
But she is convinced there has been a "massive cover up" because Ben's body wasn't discovered.
She said: "That proves it to me without doubt they obviously moved him and buried him and for whatever reason dug him up. There’s no other explanation."
