CORRIE star Bruno Langley is at the centre of a sex probe after a woman complained to ITV bosses.
She says he acted inappropriately after they met in a Manchester bar.
Dad Bruno, 34, who plays Todd Grimshaw, is said to be devastated by her claims, which he vehemently denies.
ITV launched an internal investigation after she filed an official complaint the next day.
Bruno was last seen filming a week ago. Producers refused to say if he has been asked to stay away from the set.
A source said: “He is very upset. This is devastating for him. A complaint has been received and is being taken very seriously.
“Bruno has been asked to give an account of what happened and that is being checked against the woman’s statement.
"He doesn’t even know what she is alleging beyond inappropriate conduct.
“There has been no announcement to cast and crew.
"Police are not involved at this stage.
“It is important Bruno is given a fair hearing.”
A Corrie spokeswoman refused to comment on the claims last night.
Bruno’s people insisted he had not been suspended.

He told TV’s Loose Women last year: “There’s been a few times when I’ve seen a really nice girl, not said anything and always regretted it.
“These days I always go up and try to be a gentleman.”
