Kevin Spacey allegations – British police investigate claims actor, 23, woke up to star performing a sex act on him at his London home

BRITISH cops are investigating claims a 23-year-old actor woke up to Kevin Spacey performing a sex act on him at the star's London home.

It is the first known UK police probe into the actor, 56, who allegedly abused the Brit after inviting him in for a drink.

The man claims that he woke to find Spacey performing a sexual act on him and then fled the address after being warned by the American Beauty actor not to tell anyone about it.

The sexual assault, allegedly carried out in 2008, could see Spacey quizzed by Met officers.

It is understood that the complainant had asked the House of Cards star, who was artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre between 2004 and 2015, to help with his career.

According to a source, the complainant said they smoked weed and he passed out unconscious.

He came round to discover Spacey performing oral sex on him and told him to stop, it is alleged.

The young man is said to have run from the house and Spacey allegedly told him: "Don't tell anyone about this."

The alleged victim, now aged 32, contacted City of London Police on Tuesday after a raft of stories emerged about Spacey allegedly abusing a teenage boy.

The complaint was referred to the Metropolitan Police to deal with, as the offence is alleged to have occurred in their area.

Detectives from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command interviewed the alleged victim yesterday at a Central London police station.

The Met said in a statement: "On 1 November, City of London Police referred an allegation of sexual assault to the Metropolitan Police Service.

"It is alleged a man assaulted another man in 2008 in Lambeth.

"Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating."

It is understood that no arrest or charge has been made.

The latest allegations comes after a man claimed he had a sexual relationship with Spacey when he was just 14.

The alleged victim, who is now a 48-year-old artist, said his relationship with the actor, who was then 24, ended when Spacey attempted to rape him. Spacey denies the claims.

Eight others have claimed to have been harassed or assaulted by the actor while working on the Netflix TV show House of Cards.

Hollywood filmmaker Tony Montana accused Spacey of grabbing him in the crotch at a Los Angeles pub in 2003.

And another young barman, Daniel Beal, exclusively told The Sun he was flashed by Kevin Spacey outside a hotel where he was working in 2010 and handed a £5,000 watch afterwards.

The young barman, who was 19 at the time, said he was sitting outside having a cigarette break when Spacey sat down next to him, flashed his privates and said: “It’s big, isn’t it?”

When he walked back into the bar to work, Beal said Spacey followed him and handed him the Swiss watch he was wearing.

Actor Anthony Rapp, best known for appearing in Star Trek: Discovery, was the first person to come forward with allegations saying Spacey assaulted him after a party in 1986 when he was just 14-years-old.

He said Spacey had laid down on top of him, adding in an interview with : "I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually."

Responding to the allegations made by Rapp, Spacey - who won Oscars for The Usual Suspects and American Beauty - said he was "beyond horrified" but did not remember the encounter.

Spacey said he owed Rapp a "sincere apology" for what he said would have been "deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour".

Spacey also announced that he was now living "as a gay man" prompting widespread criticism for choosing the moment to come out.

The 58-year-old actor has since been stripped of an International Emmy Award and his acclaimed Netflix series House of Cards - in which Spacey stars as the manipulative, ruthless politician Frank Underwood - will end after the sixth season.

The company said on Monday the decision was made months ago but that it found the current allegations “deeply troubling”.

This morning reportedly confirmed it will cut all ties with Kevin Spacey as allegations against the House of Cards star mount.

The streaming service announced the disgraced star has been ditched from production of the final series of House of Cards and has canned his Gore Vidal movie.

The move comes after British police said they are investigating an allegation of sexual assault involving the Oscar winner.

In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service said: "Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey.

"We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey."
