Harvey Weinstein tries to slink out in public wearing a blond WIG and orange make-up… but still gets spotted
DISGRACED movie mogul Harvey Weinstein dined in a restaurant last night wearing a blonde wig and orange makeup, it has been claimed.
The shamed star, accused of rape and sexual assault by numerous Hollywood actresses, was spotted by diners at the Chestnut eaterie in Phoenix, Arizona, reports .
Weinstein, who was wearing a baseball cap in a further attempt to disguise himself, reportedly ate with a friend in a private dining room.
But according to the report, the secluded area had glass walls meaning everyone in the restaurant could see the scandal-hit producer.
The tinsel-town perv is currently in Phoenix after completing just one week of therapy following the disturbing allegations against him.
Weinstein reportedly had an inscription on his baseball cap which read 2:24.
According to TMZ, this could be a reference to a Bible verse 2:24 which reads: “But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him."
Following his stint in rehab, Weinstein, who produced Oscar hits such as The Crying Game, Shakespeare in Love and The Artist, is receiving outpatient treatment in the city in Arizona.
The legendary producer was the subject of a number of allegations – including from film star Ashley Judd – published in the New York Times.
Judd, 49, recalled an incident in which she expected to discuss business with Weinstein, 65, but instead, was summoned to his hotel room.
She claimed that Weinstein — wearing a bathrobe — then asked her if he could give her a massage, or if she would be willing to watch him take a shower.
Other claims included offers of career advancement in exchange for sex, forced massages and incidents in which he was alleged to have fully exposed himself.
A lawyer for Weinstein hit out, calling the allegations "patently false".
But Weinstein said in a statement: “I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologise for it.
“Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go.”
Since the initial claims became public, a number of others have come forward with allegations of their own against the Hollywood figure, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Asia Argento, Cara Delevingne and Kate Beckinsale.
On Thursday, it was reported that Boardwalk Empire actress Paz de la Huerta has claimed Weinstein raped her twice in 2010.
Investigators in New York are probing allegations made by the Boardwalk Empire star, law enforcement sources told The New York Post.
