UK’s most notorious prisoner Charles Bronson plans to become llama keeper when he’s released from jail, lover Paula Williamson reveals
THE FIANCEE of violent jailbird Charles Bronson has said they want to settle down in a cottage – and keep fluffy llamas.
Paula Williamson, 37, is set to marry 64-year-old Bronson next Tuesday after she got engaged to him on Valentine's Day this year.
The couple fell in love after she first wrote to him in 2013 after reading his book on living in Broadmoor psychiatric hospital.
Bronson is infamous for being Britain's "most violent prisoner" and is currently serving time at HMP Wakefield - also known as "Monster Mansion".
Despite being locked up Bronson has still been granted permission to marry his Coronation Street actress girlfriend Paula.
And after the big day it seems he is finally planning to settle down.
Speaking to the BBC, Paula revealed he loves llamas, was "passionate about art" and that they planned to buy a cottage and go on cruises.
She said: "I've said to Charlie, when you get out, you will have a room, and that will be your sanctuary.”
Adding that she would carry on campaigning for his release, she revealed they were like any other couple.
She said: "We have little fall outs and tiffs," she told the BBC. "But after 10 minutes of seeing him I'll smile and say 'for goodness' sake Charlie, stop being such a stupid git!'
"I know I'm not 19 any more, but we've also discussed having children one day."
Armed robber Bronson has been behind bars for 41 years, 37 in solitary confinement, after repeatedly having his sentence increased for attacking prison staff and taking them hostage.
He has taken up art and now goes by the name Charles Salvador, in a nod to his favourite artist Salvador Dali.
