Kevin Spacey checks into the SAME rehab clinic as Harvey Weinstein as they begin ‘Gentle Path’ sex addiction program
DISGRACED Oscar winner Kevin Spacey has checked into the Arizona sex addiction clinic which is treating movie mogul pervert Harvey Weinstein.
The House of Cards actor is attending the $36,000-a-month Meadows rehab centre in Phoenix after being hit by a string of allegations.
American Beauty star Spacey arrived at the clinic at the end of last week, reports .
Meadows claims to have the best sex addiction programme in the US and has treated A-listers Tiger Woods, Kate Moss and Selena Gomez.
Formerly revered thespian Spacey, who has won two Academy Awards, has been accused by multiple men of sexual abuse.
His management said last Wednesday the actor “is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment.”
The exclusive clinic in Wickenburg, Phoenix, offers horse riding, yoga, tai chi, acupuncture and mindfulness meditation.
Sex addict patients take part in the 45-day programme known as “Gentle Path” where they take part in counselling and “expressive arts.”
Their website reads: “In a safe and nurturing community composed of their peers, men are guided on their journey of recovery by examining the underlying causes of addiction and co-occurring disorders.
“The goal is for these individuals to gain the courage to face difficult issues, including grief and loss; heal from emotional trauma; and become accountable for their own feelings, behaviours, and recovery.”
Last week, Weinstein was pictured in a restaurant in Phoenix wearing a wig and make-up as he continues to receive outpatient treatment at Meadows after completing a week-long inpatient programme.
Spacey's reputation was rocked when Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp gave an interview to in which he alleged the megastar made sexual advances to him when he was 14.
Spacey, then aged 26, is alleged to have invited Rapp to his New York apartment for a party before picking him up and placing him on his bed when the party had finished.
Rapp, now 46, claims Spacey then climbed on top of him and made sexual advances before he managed to "wriggle free".
