After one viewer was told there were no halal turkeys in Tesco they tweeted: "Confused - what's the point of having a muslim family in the ad if not including them by catering for them?"

Some viewers had complained because the advert features a Muslim family greeting each other with gifts ahead of the big day.

One said: "Tesco have just put an advert out showing families celebrating and enjoying Christmas dinner. Why was a Muslim family included in this ad?"

Another wrote: "Your Christmas advert features Muslims, but they do not celebrate Christian celebrations, so why?"
