Ferne McCann plagued by prison phone calls from acid attack yob ex
ARTHUR Collins has plagued Towie star Ferne McCann with phone calls from behind bars.
Ferne, 27, has been trying to put the nightmare of her fiance’s nightclub acid attack behind her.
She has just given birth to their baby daughter Sunday and shared photos of them together to her 1.8million Instagram followers.
Ferne wrote: “Welcome to the world my darling. Didn’t expect to see you a week early. I’m so in love and bursting with pride. It’s a girl.”
The TV star is believed to be planning to move away from Essex to bring up daughter Sunday.
But former partner Collins is struggling with the break-up of their relationship since the acid attack and has regularly called her.
He was found with a mobile phone while on remand at HMP Thameside, South London.
One source said: “He has been regularly trying to call Ferne and is understandably finding it very difficult being without her and their baby.
“But she is still horrified by what he did and finds it hard to comprehend how the man she loved could do such a thing.” The couple had been together for around a year before the acid incident.
They split up following a trip to Ibiza in the summer of 2016, but rekindled their relationship in March after Ferne failed to find love on reality show Celebs Go Dating.
Collins carried out the acid attack hours after he and Ferne went to break the news of her pregnancy to her family on Easter Sunday.
He told the court: “On the Sunday we went to a family BBQ. That’s when we told them.
“It’s the most happy I have ever felt, we were both really happy.
“Her mum was there, her grandad, her sister, her sister’s boyfriend and her littl’un.”
He told jurors he went to the nightclub to celebrate Ferne’s pregnancy.
But the proud father-to-be turned into a snarling monster who doused innocent young clubbers with acid in the horrific attack.
