Celebrity Big Brother star Heavy D trashed ANOTHER rental flat leaving landlord £7k out of pocket
ANOTHER couple claim Celebrity Big Brother star Heavy D trashed their rental flat - and they had to go to court to get him evicted.
Joanne Gibbs, 55, contacted The Sun Online with her horrific experience after reading about how Heavy D, real name Colin Newell, still owes another landlord £12,000 in unpaid rent and trashed his flat.
Grandma Joanne and her husband Derek, 60, have been landlords for 20 years but say they have never had a bad experience like when Heavy D rented their London property.
The Storage Hunters star allegedly moved into their Archway flat in October 2013, paying £1,083 a month rent - but four months later stopped paying altogether and was forced to move out in August after the couple took him to court, leaving the flat in a "disgusting" state.
Joanne said: "The flat was filthy, absolutely filthy.
"The toilet was black.
"I've never seen anything like it, there was cat litter all over the floor.
"It was awful, really traumatic."
The property was rented through an agent, so Joanne and Derek had not met Heavy D before he moved in, and had no idea who he really was.
"He turned up on Celebrity Big Brother and I realised what an idiot he was," Joanne added.
Husband Derek claims he was forced to spend a month completely redecorating the flat after the star finally moved out, and the condition was so bad he wouldn't even let wife Joanne see it.
Derek said: "It was disgusting.
"There were clothes everywhere. I must have thrown out about five bin bags of clothes.
"The toilet was so dirty it actually made me heave when I was cleaning it out."
Joanne told The Sun Online that they lost £7,000 through unpaid rent, court costs and redecorating the property.
Images of the home show food and rubbish strewn across the floor, with cabinet doors pulled off and dirty clothes piled up in a heap.
Unwashed dishes lie gathering mould on the counter while the floor of the shower is covered in dirt.
The couple's experience is similar to Stephen Cooper's - who also had to take Heavy D to court in a desperate attempt to get his property back.
Stephen was left furious after Heavy D owed him thousands of pounds in unpaid rent, eventually leaving the Enfield home filled with rubbish.
Colin Newell refused to comment after being contacted by The Sun Online.
