Music legend Goldie on trial with teen daughter for ‘attacking Glastonbury festival bouncer’
GOLDIE will stand trial with his teen daughter accused of attacking a bouncer at Glastonbury.
The music legend, who received an MBE last year, was allegedly involved in a struggle with the guard who refused his daughter entry to a restricted area behind the Pyramid Stage.
The 52-year-old, real name Clifford Joseph Price, allegedly pushed the man and scratched his face.
His 19-year-old daughter, Chance, is accused of kicking the bouncer as he lay on the ground.
Goldie, who played a DJ set at the five-day event, and daughter Chance gave addresses in Hertfordshire when they appeared at Yeovil Magistrates Court yesterday.
They entered not guilty pleas to a charge of assaulting Dennis Poole by beating him at the Worthy Farm site on June 23 this year.
District Judge David Taylor adjourned the case for a trial date and location to be fixed on Friday.
Former James Bond star Goldie played gold-toothed bodyguard Mr Bullion in the 1999 film The World Is Not Enough.
