Jennifer Lawrence says ‘I felt like I got gang-banged by the whole f****** planet’ after nude iCloud photos leak
JENNIFER Lawrence has described the horror of having naked pictures stolen and leaked online as "like being gang-banged by the f***ing planet".
The Oscar winner had intimate pictures hacked from her iCloud account and posted on forum site 4chan in 2014.
Hacker Edward Majerczyk, 29, was jailed for nine months earlier this year after admitting accessing more than 300 people's accounts in connection with the case.
Lawrence said the privacy invasion left her confidence shattered and in tears when people described her as a good role model.
She : "When the hacking thing happened, it was so unbelievably violating that you can't even put it into words.
"I feel like I got gang-banged by the f***ing planet. There was not one person in the world that is not capable of seeing these intimate photos of me.
"You can just be at a barbecue and somebody can just pull them up on their phone. That was a really impossible thing to process.
"I think, like, a year and a half ago, somebody said something to me about how I was ‘a good role model for girls,’ and I had to go into the bathroom and sob because I felt like an imposter."
Lawrence also added that she had never had any inappropriate experiences with producer Harvey Weinstein, who she worked with on Silver Linings Playbook.
Weinstein has been accused of several rapes and sexually harassing more than 100 women.
Majerczyk used an email “phishing” scam to trick victims into handing over their log in details before stealing their backed-up photos and videos.
But no evidence was found linking Majerczyk to the actual leaks and his lawyer said the stolen material was for the hacker’s personal use.
Celebs – including actresses Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union and model Kate Upton – were among other star names whose pictures were hacked and posted online.
