A WOMAN who attacked two police officers had downed 24 cans of lager, plus sambuca and vodka.
Abigail Mitchell, 24, punched an inspector in the face and kicked a PC in the groin after her fiance Lee Mason, 32, was pulled over on suspicion of drink-driving.
The mum of two kicked off after complaining her rugby player boyfriend was “manhandled” by cops in Burnley, Lancs.
Kamran Yousaf, defending the couple, told JPs of jobless Mitchell: “She had consumed, throughout the day, 24 cans of lager, a massive amount of alcohol, some sambuca and some vodka.”
Mitchell admitted two assault charges and was given a community order and made to attend a six-month alcohol treatment programme.
Mason admitted driving with excess alcohol and got a one-year road ban.
