The book Women Who Deserve To Go To Hell, by Mansoor Abdul Hakim, preaches that women should not “show ingratitude to their husbands” or “have tall ambitions”.

And those who “grumble”, “adorn themselves” or “ape men, get tattoos or cut their hair short” will be punished.

Other books spotted in school libraries insist that in a Muslim marriage “the wife is not allowed to refuse sex to her husband” or “leave the house where she lives without his permission”.

Kids were taught “the man by way of correction can also beat her”.

Another book compares a “noble women of the East” with the “internally torn woman of the West” who spends her time flirting and hanging round at cinemas and cafes.

Insiders said the writings made for “uncomfortable reading”.
