Missing Ben Needham’s heartbroken family in desperate plea to help find boy’s body after ‘accepting he is dead’

BEN Needham's heartbroken family have issued a desperate plea to find the missing tot's body after accepting he is dead.
The 21-month-old vanished on the Greek island of Kos on July 24, 1991, but his body has never been found – despite weeks of excavation by police.
His family have now revealed their anguish over not knowing where Ben is buried as they said they had to now accept the heartbreaking news he "would not be coming home".
Writing on the Help Find Ben Needham Facebook page, they added: "However the fight does NOT end here!
"Somebody out there knows something. You may not think it as important , it could have just been a flippant comment made by someone but ANY piece of information could be vital in finding Ben and bringing him home to rest.
";PLEASE do not let 2018 be another year without Ben home."
Ben was playing a his grandparents' farmhouse in Kos 26 years ago when he vanished without a trace.
His bloodied sandal and toy car were later discovered after police carried out a huge excavation of the site last year.

After he disappeared, the family began to search nearby for the tot, assuming that he had wandered off, but no sign of Ben was found.
Eventually the search was widened and theories surrounding his disappearance have ranged from a gypsy family kidnapping the tot to Ben living across the globe in Australia.
Cops now believe he died in a horrible accident after being hit by a digger driven by Konstantinos Barkas but there has been no sign of his body.
