North Korea’s state media claims Kim Jong-un ‘climbed’ 2,744m tall Mount Paektu in smart leather shoes
Previous statements from the isolated nation claim Kim possess seemingly superhuman powers, including being able to drive at the age of three and win yacht races at just nine
TUBBY tyrant Kim Jong-un "climbed" up a 2,744m mountain, North Korean state media has boasted, but his spotless black leather shoes suggest otherwise.
The double-chinned despot reportedly trudged "through thick snow" to scale Mount Paektu after he ordered a monument to be "spruced up" at its peak.
The mountain is sacred in Korean folklore and has frequently been used to beef up propaganda across three generations of the Kim family.
Previous statements from the isolated nation claim Kim possess seemingly superhuman powers, including being able to drive at the age of three and win yacht races at just nine.
North Korea media also said his late father, Kim Jong-il, first picked up a golf club in 1994 and shot a 38-under par round that included no fewer than 11 holes in one.
And according to his official biography, the current Kim apparently never urinates or defecates because of his body's superior calibration.
According to the official state newspaper Rodong Sinmun, Kim "said he had often climbed Mount Paektu but this is the first time to have in mid-winter such nice weather, rare to be seen even in spring."
It continued: "His eyes reflected the strong beams of the gifted great person seeing in the majestic spirit of Mount Paektu the appearance of a powerful socialist nation which dynamically advances full of vigour without vacillation at any raving dirty wind on the planet."
