Inside F1 champ Lewis Hamilton’s new £18m six-bedroom London mansion
LEWIS Hamilton has splashed out £18million on a new London mansion that boasts six bedrooms across four floors and an impressive summer house.
The Formula One driver snapped up the "unique detached villa" after it was put on the market last month.
He even managed to knock almost £2million off the price after owners Burberry chief designer Christopher Bailey, 46, and his husband, actor Simon Woods, 37, originally priced it at £19.85million.
Not that the four-time champion couldn't afford it, after it emerged his personal wealth reached £131million according to the Sunday Times Rich this year.
The stunning property has "generous entertaining space" which opens out into a 200ft garden with an impressive summer house.
The detached property was built by the famous builder Samuel Johns in 1860.
It boasts six bedrooms and four reception rooms, with two good-sized bathrooms.
Although it's not clear how the unmarried 32-year-old will split his time between his other properties in Monte Carlo and New York, Hamilton's new pad is perfect for entertaining.
And the four-time title-holder has picked a great location in the West End.
