AN unlucky schoolboy is lifted in the air by the neck after getting his head stuck in a rising car park barrier.
The lad and his pal are seen on CCTV ducking through the gate just before a car arrives and the boom arm begins to rise.

One boy squeezes through just in time but the other is trapped and gets lifted off his feet.
He ends up dangling above the ground with his neck wedged in a section of the scissor-like structure.
A photo taken by a passerby shows the pained expression on his face as he awkwardly props himself up on the gate post with his foot while waiting for help.
Security guards were finally able to lower the barrier and free him from his predicament.
