THE FACT is, if a woman is feeling worse for wear after a Christmas party, she has a whole tool box of potions designed to cover up the rotten hangover she's secretly sporting.

But, on the whole, blokes don't tend to do anything to hide the bags and blotchy skin that come as part of the morning-after-the-night-before.

So The Sun Online thought it was about time they got the chance to experiment with some make-up and see if they could cover up the signs of a heavy night.

We asked four fellas, on the morning after their office Christmas party, to have a go at giving themselves a make-over.

With a full set of male grooming products and specially chosen concealer and foundation, along with some other bits of make-up, each of the chaps dove head first into the task.

The blokes struggled to identify the purpose of a lot of the products, feeling more comfortable with the cleanser and the moisturiser than the concealer and brow gel.

After a bit of experimentation, we sent in expert make-up artist to work her professional make-up on our useless men.

All the blokes agreed that they looked fresher after their make-overs with their skin more even and their eye bags reduced.

But only one of the fellas decided to keep it on to cover their hangover at work with the other free diving for the face wipes as soon as the shoot was over!
