Kate and Wills sending Princess Charlotte to £6,000-a-term Willcocks Nursery school
PRINCESS Charlotte will start nursery next month at an exclusive school costing up to £14,550 per year.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s two-year-old daughter will study poetry, pottery and could even learn French.
The tot will join classes at the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January next year, Kensington Palace revealed this morning.
The school, named among London’s best by Tatler magazine, is just half-a-mile from Charlotte’s home at the palace.
Founded in 1964, the nursery runs three terms per school year, with the morning classes costing £3,050, and the afternoon classes £1,800.
It also offers lunch club, which costs up to £1,740 for all three afternoons during the week – although each child must bring their own lunch.
The announcement came as the royals released their official family Christmas photos.
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ festive snap was taken during The Duchess of Cornwall’s private 70th birthday party in July.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte and Prince George stole the show in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Christmas card.
Adorable Charlotte looks remarkably similar to her great grandmother the Queen – affectionately known as Gan Gan by the tot’s older brother George.
Just like her majesty, the two-year-old displays a restrained smile in the snap, which was taken earlier this year at Kensington Palace.
The photograph shows the Duchess of Cambridge glowing in a powder blue dress, matching her adorable daughter, who is wearing a blue floral dress.
Dad Prince Wills can be seen holding George’s shoulders, as he smiles happily at the camera as he holds his dad’s hand.
The four-year-old, who started school this year, attended a different nursery to Charlotte – Westacre Montessori School nursery in Norfolk.

The fees must be paid in advance.
The school, at Holy Trinity Church, in Kensington, is owned and run by head teacher Lavinia Taylor and was rated “outstanding” by Ofsted.
The nursery released a statement, saying: “We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte.
“We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.”
The school day starts with prayers, hymns and songs.
Kids learn to count past 20, have toys that can be programmed to help their learning and are visited by police and firefighters.
Mornings, for 32 kids, are said to be “fun and structured” with reading, writing and numbers.
Afternoons are more informal with a focus on art and music.
It’s a big year for the family, who are expecting their third child in April next year.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news that a new royal baby is on the way on September 4, 2017.
And Prince Harry will be busy himself, currently organising his wedding to US actress Meghan Markle for May next year.
Loved-up Harry and Meghan announced their engagement last month and are due to wed in Windsor.
They will spend their first Christmas as an official couple with the Royal Family.
Harry’s brother Wills, his pregnant wife Kate and their kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be there this year after opting to spend Christmas with the Middletons in 2016.
