Mum Michelle Pearson, 36, whose four kids were burned to death in suspected arson attack still doesn’t know they have died
Michelle, from Salford, Greater Manchester, has been placed in a medically induced coma while doctors treat her serious burns
A MOTHER whose four children died in a house fire still does not know her kids were killed because she is in a coma, her family has said.
Demi Pearson, 14, Brandon, eight, Lacie, seven, and Lia, three, all died following the devastating blaze in in Salford, Greater Manchester, on December 11.
But their mum Michelle Pearson, who had her 36th birthday on Saturday, remains in a medically induced coma while her burns are treated.
The fire was started after a suspected arson attack and three people have now been charged with four counts of murder.
Michelle’s mother Sandra Lever has posted emotional messages on Facebook confirming her daughter does not yet know her kids were killed.
On Christmas Day, she wrote: “Want to wish my 4 beautiful grandchildren Lacie, Demi, Brandon, Lia, a happy Christmas wish you was here it was not your time to go miss you so much everyday hurts with out you until we meet again love you loads xx.”
Michelle’s brother Matt has started a GoFundMe page to help with the funerals and has so far raised £22,000.
The children will be buried side by side.
Matt wrote: “I want to give these kids the best funeral they deserve with customised coffins for them.”
David Worrall, 25, and Courtney Brierley, 20, were charged along with Zac Bolland, 23, earlier this month with four counts of murder over the house fire in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Last week, it was reported that two of the murder suspects were attacked in prison by fellow inmates.
The Worral had his fingers broken by an inmate at HMP Forest Bank in Salford.
A source said Brierley had also been attacked with boiling water at HMP Styal in Cheshire and has since been moved to another prison.
Bolland is currently on remand at Strangeways Prison in Manchester as the three await trial next year.
Fire investigators believe the property was targeted via three entry points – the chimney, front door and a ground floor window.
Traces of petrol are believed to have been found at all three points and it is thought the entry points were doused in fuel before the house was torched.
Since the tragedy, it has emerged that the Pearson family had been living under threat, sources have confirmed.
