Car parking service handed keys to a dad’s £7,000 motor to a complete stranger
A dad, his wife and his four kids were left stranded after being told the company he had left his car with before going on holiday had handed the vehicle's key to a stranger seven days earlier.
A DAD who left his car with an airport parking firm says the motor was handed to a stranger.
Steven Duncan, 41, went with his wife Julie, 39, and four kids to get the £7,000 VW Transporter Shuttle after an 11-day Tenerife holiday.
They say Car Park Manchester told them the keys were handed over seven days earlier to someone who claimed to be Steven.
Steven, who paid the firm £47, said: “It makes me sick they think they can get away with this.”
Insurers provided the family with a two-night hotel stay while they arranged a vehicle to get home to Fife, Scotland.
