The 57-year-old, from Hull, revealed the big win today and said it was all ";just like a dream".

Melissa, who now plans to marry her girlfriend and write an autobiography about the win, added: "The transgender fight to where I am now has been a difficult path.

"I received my operation almost seven years ago and I am really proud of who I am today.

"I now want to help others in similar situations and believe my autobiography will do just this.

Melissa even thanked staff at the garage where she bought the winning card, saying: "You've just given me £4 million - 2018 is going to be the best year ever."

The taxi driver had been hinting on social media about the big win - posting on Monday: "Tomorrow I will prove the impossible is actually possible. Stay tuned."

Melissa is no stranger to the limelight and receives millions of views on her YouTube videos.

They mostly feature her singing in skimpy outfits, often with bizarre items attached to her chest such as bottles of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.

She was previously whittled down to the last few hundred in the world out of 200,000 people who applied to join a Space mission to Mars and has appeared on Judge Rinder.

Melissa also appeared on the Jeremy Kyle Show after becoming embroiled in a bizarre love triangle with Too Fat To Work slob Stephen Beer and his wife Michelle.

“Have you seen a photo of him? I wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole."

She went on the Jeremy Kyle show again earlier this year for DNA tests to find out if daughter Emily was biologically hers.

And last January, Melissa told the Mail how she was trying to raise £15,000 to get new teeth.

Melissa, who says she is only interested in women, says she is inundated with offers of dates and even marriage.

She said: "I'm sex on legs. I get told my confidence is very sexy. I've got good legs and a decent personality.

"Over the period of a week, I must get offers of at least ten marriages.

"I'm always being asked to marry people and go on dates. Eighty per cent are men.

"I'm single, so if there's any hot women out there, I'm free."

Another taxi driver is also celebrating a big win after he scooped more than £24 MILLION on the lottery - despite only getting five numbers right.

Amo Riselli, 50, matched the winning numbers: 18, 36, 48. 57, 58, 59 along with the bonus ball 50 on December 27.

The cabbie didn't have all six numbers but the top prize had to be won, so the jackpot rolled down to those who had matched five numbers and the bonus ball.
