Ivanka known as Donald Trump’s ‘real wife’ and aide Hope Hicks his ‘real daughter’, bombshell book claims
IVANKA has been nicknamed the "real wife" of Donald Trump - with Melania fading into the background, an explosive book on the US President's administration has claimed.
And in bombshell reports, the US President is claimed to treat his closest aide Hope Hicks as his "real daughter".
Sensational excerpts from Michael Wolff's Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House have been drip-fed into media, with one paragraph suggesting: "With his daughter and son-in-law sidelined by their legal problems, Hope Hicks, Trump’s 29-year-old personal aide and confidant, became, practically speaking, his most powerful White House advisor.
"With Melania a nonpresence, the staff referred to Ivanka as the ‘real wife’ and Hicks as the ‘real daughter'."
Hicks, Wolff wrote, had the challenging job of tending “to the Trump ego, to reassure him, to protect him, to buffer him, to soothe him.
"It was Hicks who, attentive to his lapses and repetitions, urged him to forgo an interview that was set to open the 60 Minutes fall season.”
It comes as the White House slammed the book as "complete fantasy" ahead of its release next week.
Wolff's book is reportedly based on 200 interviews with White House staffers and members of Trump's election campaign team, including Steve Bannon.
The litany of bombshell claims in the book include that First Lady Melania "cried" when Trump won the election.

The legal letter read: “Your publication of false/baseless statements about Mr. Trump gives rise to, among other claims, defamation by libel per se, false light invasion of privacy, tortious interference with contractual relations, and inducement of breach of contract.”
Harder is best known for helping pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan take down news outlet Gawker and has also represented the President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
