WEBSITE Down Detector reported hundreds of incidents of users unable to login or tweet.
TWITTER users have tonight reported the social media app has crashed.
Website Down Detector said there were hundreds of incidents of users unable to login or tweet.
The outage detector said Twitter was experiencing issues since 7.54pm this evening.
The crash led to a flurry of concerned comments from users unable to tweet or use the social network all over the world.
User panos v wrote: “down in greece,” while users in France and Russia also said the network was no longer working.
But some users said they were back in business about 20 minutes later.
Others were quick to make light of the situation, with Joanne Oliver writing: “Still off..UK. Oh dear.
“Have we upset Trump?”
On Twitter itself, users were finally able to vent their frustration after the brief hiatus.
Jordan Coombe joked: “Twitter went down for about 20 minutes and I couldn’t even complain about it on Twitter.”
