White Widow Sally Jones’s son, 12, ‘was killed in the same airstrike that took out his mother’
THE child of British jihadist Sally Jones was almost certainly killed in the same airstrike that she was, say western intelligence figures.
It had previously been reported that JoJo Dixon, 12, was at a training camp several miles away from the location in Syria where his mother was killed.
Jones, 48, known as 'Mrs Terror' and the 'White Widow', was the most-wanted female terrorist in the world when she was targeted by an Allied drone strike in June last year.
An intelligence sourced told today's edition of : "It’s 99.9 per cent certain that they were both killed."
She was considered a top priority threat by Western intelligence because of her role in planning attacks and recruiting jihadists.
Jones converted to Islam and joined Isis in 2012 following an online romance with the terrorist Junaid Hussain.
She travelled to Syria in 2013 with her son, then just nine-years-old, and married Hussain.
He was known for his work as a computer hacker working on behalf of the depraved terror group.
At the age of 21, in 2015, he was killed in an Allied drone strike.
Jones, who had two sons by two different men, was from Chatham in Kent.
Her son JoJo was made to participate in propaganda videos for Isis before he died.
In one particularly chilling video posted in 2016 he and four other children executed five Kurdish fighters.
They were dressed in camouflaged military dress with black ammunition vests and handguns.
Their captives were in orange jumpsuits, bound and forced to kneel facing the camera before being shot in the back of the head.
