Militant vegan explodes on Jeremy Vine show after spotting presenter’s cheese and ham sandwich

Activist Joey “Carbstrong” Armstrong told the Radio 2 host his lunch was offensive as it was made from “the flesh of a dead pig”

A MILITANT vegan had a total Flakedown on the Jeremy Vine show yesterday when he spotted the presenter’s cheese and ham sandwich on a table.

Activist Joey “Carbstrong” Armstrong told the Radio 2 host his lunch was offensive as it was made from “the flesh of a dead pig”.

He said: “I’m a bit upset to see your sandwich has a piece of a pig’s body in there. A dead pig that didn’t want to die.

“Ham is a euphemism that actually comes from the flesh of a dead pig.”

Asked what he should call it instead, the Aussie campaigner said: “I’d like you to call it the dead body of an animal that didn’t want to die.”

Armstrong also objected to the cheese in Jeremy’s sandwich, saying: “It comes from a mother who had her children taken from her, and had hands shoved in her anus and was artificially inseminated with bull semen.”

Jeremy tweeted after Tuesday’s show: “Tip: When interviewing a militant vegan, don’t leave a ham sandwich in view.”

Armstrong, a former convict and gang member, is touring the UK trying to convert meat lovers.

He has called farmers “slave owners” and compared the meat and dairy industry to the Holocaust.
