Meghan Markle suits up as Kate Middleton dazzles in flowing gown for style icons’ first fashion clash
KATE Middleton went head to head with Meghan Markle in the style icons’ first fashion clash last night.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, wore a dazzling gown over her baby bump alongside husband William, 35, in Oslo.
She raised a glass at a dinner at the Royal Palace, having previously been pictured drinking alcohol-free Swedish wine.
Meghan looked bold in black as she arrived at her first awards ceremony with fiancé Prince Harry wearing a power suit.
The royal couple are supporting the annual Endeavour Fund this evening, which celebrates the remarkable sporting and adventure challenges of servicemen and women.
All eyes were on the American actress as she arrived wearing the trousers in a striking Alexander McQueen tuxe shirt and suit.
She completed the powerful look with black heels and a clutch bag.
Both Harry and Meghan are due to present awards this evening at Goldsmiths Hall in London.
The Endeavour Fund was created by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Harry to give funding to wounded, injured and sick service personnel to "rediscover their self-belief and fighting spirit through physical challenges".
It was reported earlier this week that royal bride-to-be Meghan is planning to break tradition by giving a speech at her wedding to Prince Harry.
The Suits actress will address the 800 guests at the Windsor Castle reception instead of her dad.
The Endeavour Fund also raises cash to fund mentorship, qualifications or work opportunities for those who sacrificed so much in service.

THEY couldn’t look more different — despite Kate and Meghan wearing outfits by the same designer, Alexander McQueen.
Kate looked dazzling in a flowing gown, complete with cape, while Meghan went pared-down and chic.
I preferred Meghan’s fresh take on formal dressing, though Kate edged it on the regal front.
On November 27, 2017, it was announced that the couple were tying the knot after Prince Harry popped the question after enjoying a roast chicken at home.
A few weeks later Kensington Palace confirmed the ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 19 2018.
It will be held at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, which is where Harry was christened when he was three months old.
