A TEENAGER has died after suffering an asthma attack while walking her dog in Cyprus as her heartbroken family pays tribute to the "beautiful young lady".
Aimee Sweeney, from Lanarkshire, was and found outside the family's home on the island in Peyia on Tuesday evening.
Aimee’s dad Mark discovered his daughter in distress and yelling: “I can’t breathe”.
He took her to a local medical clinic in the town before she had to be rushed to hospital in Paphos, where she sadly died.
Now her family are considering legal action against the medical centre over her death.
Her uncle Jamie McPherson, 30, of Motherwell, told Sun Online : “Mark is seeing a lawyer, there is culpability behind this, the story is going to blow up.
“Aimee was so innocent. She was the perfect example of a beautiful young lady.
“We are devastated, it’s so tragic. She had asthma, it was getting better, she still needed her daily medication.
“We don’t know what sparked the asthma attack. She also had a peanut allergy.”
Her gran, Annette Mcpherson, took to Facebook to pay tribute.

She wrote: "Our hearts have been ripped apart. We will never ever get over what has happened to our beautiful Aimee.
"Thanks everyone for your messages, calls cards and flowers. I really do have some lovely caring friends and family.
"I can't thank everyone as I have to many to get through. I just want yous all to know we are so grateful. Thank you."
