HAVE you ever wondered what warning signs to watch out for if your child is being groomed online?
More teachers are being banned from the classroom than ever before for inappropriate behaviour with pupils.
And Sun Online today revealed how social media is fuelling the alarming trend.
The NSPCC has now produced a list of common warning signs to help parents spot if their child is being groomed online.
Mums and dads are warned to keep an eye out for their kids being secretive – especially about what they are doing online.
Having new things like clothes or mobile phones that they can't or won't explain is another red flag, with paedos often plying their intended victims with gifts.
Parents are also told to watch out for their children travelling to unusual places they don’t normally visit to “meet friends”.
Having new – potentially anonymous – phone numbers, texts or e-mail addresses on their mobile phone, laptop or tablet could spell trouble if combined with other warning signs.
And being withdrawn or upset after using the internet or their phones is another possible sign something isn’t right.
A Sun Online investigation of Department for Education documents found a huge 66 per cent increase in teachers banned for sexual misconduct over the last four years.

A total of 96 teachers were barred from the profession in 2017, with half of them punished for sexual misconduct involving students.
The majority of cases saw teens contacted outside school hours using apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and Snapchat.
Sick messages sent by teachers to schoolkids included “Have you ever fancied me? Even a little? Xxx”, “So u never slid ur hands inside your undies when u in bed?” and "I really just need someone to watch me c**".
Other teachers sent and requested lewd selfies over social media and one even sent Snapchat videos of himself miming the words of Whitney Houston's “I Will Always Love You” to a 16-year-old pupil.
