GRENFELL Tower activists have taken inspiration from a Hollywood film to demand justice for the victims of the deadly high-rise fire.

Justice 4 Grenfell led the protest inspired by Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri to press for more action by police.

The justice group was set up just days after a fire ravaged the 24-storey Grenfell Tower apartment block in North Kensington in west London on June 14 2017, killing 71 people.

In September 2017 an inquiry opened into the cause of the tragedy.

The three mobile billboards driven through the capital on Thursday read: "71 dead. And still no arrests? How Come?"

In the Academy Award-nominated film, Frances McDormand plays a mother who uses the three large billboards to berate police for failing to catch her daughter's killer.

Justice 4 Grenfell said: "These three billboards are here to keep this tragedy in the national conscience, to make our voices heard.

Previously, police said they are considering possible manslaughter charges in the blaze.

A spokesman for the force told The Sun that the investigation remains ongoing, and 'there have been no arrests at this time.'
