Florida shooting – gunman Nikolas Cruz brawls ‘with love rival’ at school and is expelled 17 months before her returned to kill 17

FOOTAGE has emerged of Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz brawling with another teen who “stole his girlfriend” before he was expelled and returned to kill 17.

Cruz was captured on mobile phone video fighting with Enea Sabadini, 17, in the courtyard of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School more than a year ago.

In footage obtained by , Cruz – wearing khakis, a white T-shirt and a black bandana around his neck – can be seen struggling with a number of students.

In the video, Cruz appears to be flailing his arms as Enea and others charge at him and cause him to fall.

Towards the end of the clip, Enea can be seen being held down on the ground by other students, reports.

According to ABC, the footage was shot on September 20, 2016, with the network reporting Cruz was suspended for two days following the fight.

The brawl was one of a number of incidents that eventually saw Cruz expelled from the school.

Enea said he received a barrage of threats from Cruz after he dated the killer’s ex – with the gunman starting two fights with him in September 2016.

In the one which was captured on camera, he said Cruz charged at him during lunch at the school.

Enea said he slammed him to the ground and ended up punching him several times in the face.

Both students were suspended over the incident.

Cruz was eventually expelled from the school but continued to send his love rival abusive and threatening messages.

One message said: “I’m going to f****** kill you. I am going to shoot you dead. I’m going to watch you bleed.”

Cruz, also a member of a white nationalist group, repeatedly used homophobic and racial slurs in the message exchange, calling him a “f*****” and “n*****”.

In another message, alongside a photo of a cache of weapons, Cruz wrote: “You have no idea what I’m capable of.”

Cruz returned to the school in Parkland, near Miami, last week to massacre 17 of his former schoolmates in a gun rampage.
