Captioned: "F***ing Coco Pops! This is what £6million gets you!", the video shows the joker laying the cereal fix in Kilmarnock, Scotland.

It was posted by parody Facebook page East Ayrshire Cooncil.

The clip begins with a man filming, seemingly innocently, asking the "employee" what he is doing. The reply comes: "Fixing potholes."

The man behind the camera then asks: "With f***ing coco pops?" to which the "employee" says: "It's came from the top. There's only £6million in the budget so this is a cheaper alternative."

As he continues pouring the cereal into the hole, the man filming, questions: "You're f***ing kidding me on. You're having a f***ing laugh, aren't you?"

"Naw, it's came from the top, pal. My boss' boss. Look, pal, you're going to have to let me get on with my job. I'm just going with orders."

The man behind the camera then asks: "And you're from East Ayrshire Council?"

The man in the hi-vis points at his jacket and replies: "Aye, says right there. You're gonna need to let me get on with my job, it's nearly piece time".

Towards the end of the video, the person behind the camera asks how much is in the budget to fix potholes.

The "employee" says: "There's a £6 million budget. That's all there is."

The cameraman asks: "And you're using f***ing Coco Pops?"

"It's a cheaper alternative. It's just a temporary fix just now until we get a better budget. That's about right."

As the "employee" finishes up making his "bowl" of cereal complete, the man filming the video signs off with "un-f***ing-believable."

The video has been viewed on Facebook more than 743,000 times and received more than 5,400 likes. It has also been shared around 13,700 times.

Another said: "Should of used Porridge or Weetabix, that sh** sets like concrete after a day or two [sic]".

Another user said: "I could quite believe it."
