EX-Dragons’ Den star James Caan fathered a love child while still married, The Sun on Sunday can reveal.
James, 57, met the other woman, now 30, at a trade fair and told pals she was “phenomenal and fearless”.
The tycoon, worth £95million, has now bought a flat with her after leaving Aisha, 60, his wife of 33 years.
Pals said he was bowled over by her “drive, determination and entrepreneurial X factor” — as she got his private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw to invest in her business.
One said: “James met her at a trade show. Suddenly her company had millions of pounds of investment.
"There was a lot of gossip and it didn’t take a genius to work out what was going on. Then one day she just disappeared.”
After the birth his lover, who we are not naming, was spotted on his 86ft yacht Elegance in Monaco, where he has an apartment.
His daughters Hanah, 29, and Jemma-Lia, 30 — who have worked within his empire — were said to be “devastated” at learning about the woman, who he first met in 2011.
Records of the 2013 birth confirm him as dad.
In 2016 he and Aisha revealed their split and he quit their £7million North London family home. They are now reported to be in the process of divorcing.
The multi-millionaire joined BBC2’s Dragons’ Den in 2007, starring alongside Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis and Duncan Bannatyne.
He quit in 2010 after news cameras filming his charity work in his flood-hit native Pakistan caught him offering £75 to take a baby girl to live with his brother. He later apologised.
He told how fatherhood moved him to tears in his memoirs The Real Deal: My Story From Brick Lane To Dragons’ Den.
He wrote: “I cried for the first time in my adult life when Jemma-Lia was born in April 1987.
“We bought a huge house. I didn’t think life could get better.
“Then Aisha said she was pregnant again. Hanah was born just 11 months after Jemma.”
James, born Nazim Khan, was two when he moved to Britain.
He left school with no qualifications. But he changed his name to that of the Godfather actor and found success by setting up a recruitment firm.
In 2015, he was made a CBE for services to entrepreneurship and charity.
