A MAN claiming to be a time traveller from another planet has issued a disturbing warning to mankind.
"Alien" James Oliver said he travelled back from the year 6491 to warn humanity — but who is the crackpot and what are his claims?
Who is 'time traveller' James Oliver?
The man who gave his name as James Oliver said a volcano underneath Yellowstone national park will devastate America.
In a video posted online, he said: "I would be very cautious about the Yellowstone volcano.
"As all of you know it's overdue by about 600,000 years and an eruption that size would devastate the entire United States.
"And the biggest issue about an eruption like this is that it will produce a massive amount of ash into the atmosphere and the way your transportation mechanisms work - if you were to drive or fly through one of these ash storms, your engines will be ruined.
"There will be no air travel the second Yellowstone erupts."
In June 2018, YouTube channel Apex TV claimed Oliver had passed a lie detector test carried out by them.
The test appeared to consist of a man, who was wearing a hoodie jumper, looking at a laptop while asking the so-called time traveller a series of questions.
What reason did he give for being 'trapped' on Earth?
Oliver further claimed he was trapped on Earth after the super blue blood moon interrupted a transmission on his ship.
Further explaining his bizarre situation he added: “I’m from a planetary system that is not this one, I’m sorry I’m being very vague I cannot be specific, it’s company procedure.
“Essentially what I am is I’m sort of like an archaeologist.
“What had happened was the geological event had disrupted the signal somehow and I got backchannels flooding into my system from outside sources and it essentially fried the operating system of my ship, which means that I am stuck here until another research team lands on this planet.
“I could be here a few more days, I could be here a few more years, decades, centuries.
"I really don’t know. I haven’t gone much into the future from here.”
Who else has made bizarre time travel claims?
James is not the first time traveller claiming to have got stranded in the past.
Alexander Smith told KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show he was sent on a mission to the year 2118 and revealed the future will see flying cars and humans dating robots.
A young man named Noah also claimed to have come back from the year 2030 in a tale that had echoes of Back to The Future.
