Grenfell Tower inquiry is becoming an ‘Establishment stitch-up’, Kensington’s controversial Labour MP claims
Emma Dent Coad says Grenfell survivors have lost faith in the inquiry into the disaster

THE GRENFELL Tower inquiry is set to be an "Establishment stitch-up", Kensington's controversial Labour MP claimed today.
Emma Dent Coad suggested survivors of the fire had lost faith in top judge Martin Moore-Bick, who is chairing the probe into the disaster's causes.
And she added there may be "no justice" for victims unless the inquiry is radically changed.
The Corbynista MP, known for her lefty outbursts, has demanded Sir Martin let her submit her own evidence to the probe.
Ms Dent Coad today held a press conference in Parliament titled "Is the Grenfell Tower fire inquiry an establishment stitch-up?"
Asked if she believes the probe is a "stitch-up", she said: "Let's see what happens next - it's beginning to look like that."
She said survivors of the disaster have lost faith in Sir Martin's leadership, adding: "People think there will be no justice."
Labour councillor Pat Mason said: "They think it's a stitch-up, they think it's a whitewash."
Ms Dent Coad and her Labour colleagues today argued they must be named "core participants" in the Grenfell inquiry.
They want the right to quiz witnesses and have their own evidence accepted by Sir Martin.
Mr Mason said he is keen to interrogate Tory ministers including Michael Gove, Oliver Letwin, Greg Clark and Theresa May's chief of staff Gavin Barwell.
Speaking at the press conference, Ms Dent Coad also insisted she bears no responsibility for the Grenfell disaster despite sitting on the board of the Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation which carried out the tower's refit.
She said: "At that point all the tenants were very pleased. I'm not going to have my hands dipped in the blood."

The leftie MP won her Kensington seat by 20 votes at last year's snap election - just a week before the Grenfell Tower fire which killed 72 residents.
The Sun later revealed that she went on a furious rant against the royal family, wrongly accusing Prince Harry of being unable to fly a helicopter.
And it then emerged she had a history of making abusive statements about political rivals - including calling a top black Tory a "token ghetto boy".
