KIM Jong-un could be riddled with syphillis, diabetes, gout and completed plastic surgery to look fatter, US spies have claimed.
North Korea's leader is said to have purposely the developed health conditions which have given him other side effects including heart disease.
US and South Korean intelligence teams investigated Jong-un's health profile in a bid to gain "critical intelligence" on his political plans.
An intelligence source told he is battling the medical and psychological issues in a drastic bid to become as popular as his grandfather, Kim Il Song.
Harry Kazianis, director of defence studies at the Centre for the National Interest said: "Kim's health is something our own intel community is trying to gain every possible insight on.
"There are rumours that Kim might have had plastic surgery and purposely gained weight to look more like his grandfather, the founding ruler of North Korea, and channel some of his popularity.";
Bruce Klingner, a former CIA deputy for Korea and now senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation told Fox News the conditions could impact his decision making which could in turn, create consequences for the US.
In 2014, North Korean officials acknowledged he was suffering from an "uncomfortable physical condition" after he was spotted looking heavier and walking with a limp, according to reports.
Last year, rumours of Kim's ill health circulated after the Korean Peninsula did not launch a ballistic missile for 60 days, reported.
The newspaper claimed he was suffering with gout, diabetes and heart disease and hypertension.
It came years after a report launched by spies revealed that Kim had gained 90lbs since becoming the ruler of the Asian country.
