Neo-Nazi British soldiers were ‘members of a banned group’ and one had a terror manual by Anders Breivik
TWO Brit soldiers were members of a banned neo-Nazi group and one kept a terror manual by mass killer Anders Breivik, a jury heard.
L/Cpl Mikko Vehvilainen, 33, is said to have recruited Pte Mark Barrett, 24, to the “virulently racist” anti- Semitic and homophobic National Action organisation, a court was told yesterday.
The serving Royal Anglian Regiment pair backed the anti-democracy group even after it supported the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox by a white supremacist in 2016, it was said.
Counter-terror cops targeted them after a probe into National Action, who dubbed members “white jihadists”, it was said.
In a raid at Vehvilainen’s home at the Army’s Welsh HQ at Sennybridge Camp, Powys, they found a manifesto written under an alias by Norwegian Breivik, who killed 77 people.
