Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says Russia is 'not to blame' for poisoning of ex-spy Sergei Skripal

They were said to have a whirlwind romance and Alex described his wife as being "great in bed".

The woman who was tasked with seducing powerful figures in Washington DC "knew exactly what to do", according to her husband.

Eventually it was revealed Anna's father was Vasily Kushchenko, a former senior KGB agent.

When it emerged she had been spying Alex said "it wasn't that much of a surprise", adding it even made sense.

She has since been dubbed Russia's "most glamorous secret agent" and was one of ten spies exchanged for Sergei Skripal.

The former MI6 agent Skripal is currently fighting for his life in hospital after being poisoned.

In the days following the attack on him and his daughter in Salisbury, it emerged another Russian who made an enemy of Vladimir Putin was found dead.

Nikolai Glushkov's daughter Natalia reportedly discovered evidence of “strangulation”of the Russian exile, Russian media reported, with cops confirming they were investigating the "unexplained" death of the 68-year-old.
